The Casino Allstars are to perform at The Three Shires Wine Bar,32 Underbank, Stockport, Cheshire, SK1 1NB, on Saturday the 13th of March
One of Stockports little gems, The Three Shires has over the years been one of the best drinking posts in the centre of Stockport, noted also for its great atmosphere and well behaved clientel. The wine bar has been recently taken over by long time soul fan and DJ Alan Charles. Alan has put his own touch on the place with his Soul & Motown nights on every Friday night which are proving to be very successful. Alan was handed a CD of the band from Bob McClure and was instantly hooked straight away insisting that the band would play the venue at all costs. The bar is small but we have squeezed into smaller spaces in the past notably The Twisted Wheel, so we're all set for the 13th of March for what will be our debut at the bar, The last time we played Stockport centre was a night to remember at The Bakers Vaults which was full to the brim on what was an atrocious night weather wise, so we hope to repeat this atmosphere for Alan and all his locals. It will be a case of get in as early as possible to get a seat or it will be standing room only not that it bothers our solid foot tapping soul followers. More to come on this event soon.
